Job summary

San Miguel Corporation’s plant in Iloilo is seeking a Raw Material Planner/Data Analyst responsible for planning and monitoring raw material requirements and executing SAP ERP processes. The role focuses on optimizing warehouse use and ensuring timely procurement of materials for production.

You will coordinate with internal teams on formulations, manage inventory accuracy, and generate reports to support MRPs and cost control. A strong grasp of SAP and logistics is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Material Replenishment Plan (MRP) based on volume allocation, production schedule, stock-on-hand and feed formulation.
• Runs SAP MRP for data analysis and prepares stock transfer order (STO) based on MRP dispatch plan.
• Updates daily raw material inventory and checks critical raw materials.
• Coordinates with customer/distributor/Sales personnel the needed medications for production of customized finished goods.
• Communicates with Nutritionist on updated formulations and material unavailability or changes in nutrient profile.
• Secures delivery documents and prepares Material Disposition Slip (MDS) for acceptance monitoring.
• Ensures real-time SAP processing of RM transactions and proper record keeping.
• Ensures full utilization of internal warehouses to reduce external warehousing cost.
• Spearsheads implementation of Good Warehousing Practices including FEFO and updated locator charts.
• Ascertains compliance to SAP ERP Guidelines including Batch Management.
• Ensure compliance to Non-conforming Products (NCP) Guidelines and corrective actions.
• Reconciles SAP entry movement for raw material receipt, issuance/transfer, and usage.
• Coordinates RM transfer of non-moving & slow-moving items to other plants or uses Nutritionist for possible usage.
• Conducts month-end physical inventory of raw materials, packaging materials and reprocessibles with finance and warehouse mgmt; ensures data accuracy and SAP PID.
• Generates reports such as RM Ageing, Slow/Non-moving RM, 20 critical ingredients, RM Stock-out, MRP adherence, Hauler’s Claim.
• Monitors and analyzes variable costs such as direct material cost and direct container cost; determines factors influencing DMC and price substitutions due to unavailability.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Functions

Raw Material Planning and Acceptance

Prepares Material Replenishment Plan (MRP) based on volume allocation, production schedule, stock-on-hand and feed formulation.

Runs SAP MRP for data analysis, creates scheduled pla n delivery for submission to OpP lan Planner and prepares stock transfer order (STO) based on MRP dispatch plan.

Updates daily raw material inventory and checks critical raw materials .

Coordinates with customer/distributor/Sales personnel the needed medications for production of customized finished goods.

Communicates with assigned Nutritionist on updated formulations and on instances where there’s unavailability of raw materials or significant change in nutrient profile.

Secures minimum delivery documents such as Delivery Receipt, Sales Invoice and/or Purchase Order (P.O.) balance in all deliveries. Prepares Material Disposition Slip (MDS) for acceptance monitoring and SAP generated Receiving Report.

Ensures real-time SAP processing of RM transactions and implements proper record keeping and distribution of documents.

Raw Material Storage and Inventory Management

Ensures full utilization of internal warehouses to reduce external warehousing cost.

Spearheads implementation of Good Warehousing Practices which includes proper unloading and labeling of stocks, adherence to First to Expire, First-Out (FEFO), use of updated locator charts.

Ascertains the compliance to procedure of SAP ERP Guidelines including that of Batch Management Guidelines.

Ensure compliance to Non-conforming Products (NCP) Guidelines and ensures that corrective actions are identified and implemented.

Reconciles SAP entry movement on raw material receipt, issuance/transfer, and usage. Coordinates with RM Planner the transfer of non-moving & slow-moving items to other plants or asks Nutritionist for possible usage.

Conducts month-end physical inventory of raw materials, packaging materials and r eprocessibles with finance and warehouse management representative . Ensures accuracy of data and performs SAP Physical Inventory Difference (PID) to determine the material loss or gain.

Generates reports such as but not limit ed to the following: RM Ageing Report , Slow/Non-moving Raw materials, 20 critical ingredients, Critical/RM Stock-out, MRP adherence, and Hauler’s Claim.

Monitors and analyzes variable cost such as directmaterial cost (DMC) and directcontainer (DC). Determines the contributing factors that influence DMC, may it be high cost of raw material or penalty of raw material substitution due to unavailability or price.
