Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Production & Material Planner to develop, maintain, and execute integrated production and material plans that align demand, plant capacity, and material availability to meet service and cost objectives.
The role requires close collaboration with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, QA, Engineering, EHS, and Finance to ensure smooth scheduling, material readiness, and continuous improvement across the plant.
The Production & Material Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing integrated production and material plans to support our plant operations.
The role ensures alignment between demand requirements, plant capacity, material availability, and operational execution to achieve service level, efficiency, and cost objectives.
Supporting both standardized and multi-brand production environments, the role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth, timely, and efficient plant operations. The position also provides additional functional support as needed to maintain continuous workflow and operational effectiveness.
Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on approved demand requirements.
Translate demand inputs into feasible and executable production schedules aligned with plant capacity, resources, and operational constraints.
Develop material plans aligned with approved production schedules.
Ensure the availability of required raw materials and other materials to support uninterrupted production.
Sequence production runs to optimize efficiency, minimize changeovers, and meet delivery requirements.
Monitor actual production performance against approved production plans.
Implement timely schedule adjustments in response to changes in demand, production capacity, or operational constraints.
Coordinate closely with Production and Plant Operations teams to ensure readiness, alignment, and effective execution of production plans.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excessive inventory.
Identify, assess, and elevate risks related to capacity, manpower, materials, equipment, or supplier constraints.
Support the resolution of production and material-related issues that may impact plan adherence and operational continuity.
Develop and maintain material requirements plans based on approved production schedules.
Coordinate with the Procurement Team regarding material requirements, order quantities, lead times, and delivery schedules.
Monitor the availability and readiness of materials required for production.
Track supplier delivery performance and elevate risks that may impact material availability and production continuity.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address material shortages, delays, and supply-related risks.
Maintain accurate production planning data, material plans, and inventory records.
Monitor and report key planning metrics, including production plan adherence, service levels, material availability, and inventory performance.
Analyze planning and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare regular reports and updates on production planning and material availability.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning accuracy, responsiveness, operational efficiency, and overall plant performance.
Work closely with the following functions to ensure effective execution of production and material plans:
Production / Plant Operations – Align production schedules and ensure operational readiness.
Procurement – Coordinate material requirements, purchasing activities, and supplier delivery schedules.
Warehouse and Logistics – Ensure material availability, inventory readiness, and movement of materials.
Quality Assurance (QA) – Ensure production plans are aligned with quality and food safety requirements.
Engineering and EHS – Consider equipment, maintenance, safety, and environmental requirements in production planning.
Finance – Coordinate on inventory, material, and cost-related matters.
Brand and Operations Teams – Align production priorities with demand requirements and business needs.
