Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance or handyperson role, preferably within food service or hospitality.
• Strong understanding of maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Good communication skills to liaise with management and report maintenance activities.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Flexible and adaptable to handle a variety of tasks and changing priorities.

2. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues or potential problems proactively

3. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures

4. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or malfunctions, and work to restore normal operations as quickly as possible

5. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and supply orders

6. Ensure that the restaurant premises and facilities meet all relevant safety and compliance standards

7. Assist with special projects or tasks as required to support the overall operations of the business

8. Willing to assist as utility staff during periods without maintenance tasks.
