Job summary

Genfinity Philippines, Inc. seeks an Associate Counsel (Labor & Employment) to advise on HR matters, contract reviews, and regulatory compliance within the Philippine labor framework.

You will work with Human Resources, Operations, and Management to identify legal risks and promote sound employment practices across the organization. The role requires a licensed lawyer in good standing, with experience in labor and employment law, and proficiency in English and Filipino.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor and employment laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Excellent legal research, writing, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to provide practical, risk-based, business-focused legal advice.
• Ability to assess legal risks and formulate sound recommendations.
• Excellent organizational and case management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and compliance support on labor and employment matters for the Company and clients.
• Advise HR, Operations, and Management on employee relations, investigations, performance management, and terminations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, policies, handbooks, and related documents.
• Review contracts for labor and employment implications and advise safeguards.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, advisories, and opinions.
• Represent the Company before DOLE, NLRC, SENA, and other agencies when authorized.
