Job summary

Arvin International Marketing Inc. is seeking an Importation Associate to support the company’s import activities, ensuring timely arrival and delivery of salt, rice products, chemicals, and other items.

You will handle documentation, shipment monitoring, customs clearance, duties and taxes, and coordinate with brokers, banks, and logistics teams. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field and at least 2 years of importation or logistics

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
At least 2 years of relevant importation, logistics, or supply chain experience.
Experience with import brokers, freight forwarders, or suppliers is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to emails related to import orders and shipments.
Prepare, review, and file importation and shipping documents.
Coordinate with suppliers, import brokers, shipping lines, banks, and insurance providers.
Monitor incoming shipments, vessel arrivals, customs clearance, and cargo release.
Review duties, taxes, FX rates, and other import-related charges for management approval.
