Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a logistics assistant to support shipping line operations and customs processes in Manila. You will handle communication with lines, assist with pre-advice; monitor shipments and coordinate with trucking partners to ensure end-to-end processing.

The role requires familiarity with Philippine customs, strong English communication, and proficiency with logistics software and MS Office. Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable team player preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in shipping line operations, customs brokerage, or maritime logistics (minimum 6months preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Philippine customs procedures and maritime regulations.
• Familiarity with shipping line processes and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in using logistics software systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling complex documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders in the logistics industry.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with shipping lines, system on empty container return, pre-advice and portal
• Submit and review pre-adviSe applications for empty container returns
• Monitoring shipments and tracking delivery status to maintain visibility across the supply chain
• Communicating third-party truckers/logistics partners on the end to end processing of contain
• Communicate with shipping lines the waive of demurrage and detention charges
• Make daily report on the status of import containers
