Job summary

ING is seeking a Business Analyst for Regulatory Reporting to help meet regulatory obligations and improve data quality across AnaCredit, CRE, and Securities holdings reporting. You’ll work with Finance, Policy, and Technology teams to translate requirements into functional specs.

Join a Granular Reporting Tribe within COO Finance, delivering compliant reporting and driving process improvements. Applicants should have 2–5 years BA experience, advanced SQL and Excel skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of banking products.
• Experience with regulatory reporting (COREP, FINREP, AnaCredit) or similar frameworks.
• Advanced SQL skills for data analysis.
• Hands-on Excel experience.
• Experience in functional testing.
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and business changes.
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Policy, and Technology teams.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with developers to deliver effective reporting solutions.
• Perform data analysis using SQL and investigate data quality issues.
• Contribute to data remediation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Execute functional acceptance testing and validate implemented solutions.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for business and technical stakeholders.
• Provide second-line support for regulatory reporting processes.
