Job summary

Philippine Business for Social Progress is seeking a TB program coordinator to provide technical assistance to iDOTS facilities within the assigned catchment area, ensuring adherence to DOH NTP MOP protocols. The role covers TB screening, testing, referral, and treatment initiation for TB patients.

The incumbent will coordinate with laboratories, health offices, and partner agencies, support data collection in ITIS, and assist in TB program activities and reporting across units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Allied Health Science with 2+ years in PMDT or TB-DOTS.
• Alternative: Associate degree or certificate with 3+ years in PMDT.
• Experience in TB-DOTS is an advantage; PMDT training preferred.
• Completed trainings: PICT, ITIS, PViMS, DAT, IPCC.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to iDOTS facilities for TB management per protocols.
• Ensure referral, testing, and enrollment in treatment; coordinate with RTDL and labs.
• Coordinate with health offices and report status of iDOTS facilities.
• Assist in data collection, TB mass screenings when needed.
• Provide guidance to STRiders and community volunteers.
• Submit monthly reports; participate in meetings.
• Maintain ITIS/EMRs; assist in billing and documentation.
