Job summary

QBE Group Shared Services Centre is hiring for an IAM/IT security role focused on controlling access and governance. You will manage access requests, enforce least privilege, and support UK/US-style security controls in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include incident response, reporting, and collaboration with business units. A tertiary degree is required, and experience with AD/RACF is valuable. Travel is infrequent and the role is full-time in a security-centric team.

Qualifications

• A tertiary degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience in identity and access management is preferred.
• Experience with IT security operations and access control processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage demand through the global ticket and request management tool with effective queue management.
• Maintain least privileged access to QBE systems for joiners, movers, leavers, and authorized users in line with job function.
• Respond to information security and access-related inquiries, following defined service processes and ITIL guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with defined controls, processes, and security policies.
• Meet SLAs for JML and access requests; maintain accurate reporting for decision-making.
• Build and maintain relationships with business customers to ensure service delivery meets expectations.
• Provide guidance for IT security and user access-related activities.
• Independently analyze requests to ensure proper separation of duties and least privilege.
• Produce accurate management information for reporting and decision-making.
• Investigate and resolve access-related inquiries, minimizing business disruption.
