Job summary

WSP in Manila is seeking a Hydraulics Design Engineer to join our Building Services team. You will design sanitary services and related systems for building projects, leveraging 3D modelling tools to deliver coordinated solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Science in Sanitary Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required, and PSSE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Sanitary Engineering required.
• At least 4 years of experience in hydraulics design.
• Experience with sanitary systems and building services.
• Knowledge of QA procedures and drawing control.

Responsibilities

• Design sanitary services for buildings and related systems.
• Maintain and manage drawing records per QA procedures.
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners and clients.
• Coordinate with other design disciplines and manage outputs.
• Use spreadsheets and 3D modelling to develop hydraulics designs.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the Sanitary services design of building services and associated systems of work.
• Manage and maintain the record of all incoming and outgoing drawings from the office in accordance with WSP QA procedures.
• Liaison with WSP personnel and WSP’s partners both local and foreign affiliates and clients.
• Liaise and coordinate with other disciplines of the design team
• Manage and control outputs in accordance with the design work programme.
• Attend meeting when required.
• Carry out any assignments that will be given from time to time by the management.
• At all times exhibit behaviour consistent with that of a professional member of WSP.
• Assist with the training and development of subordinates.
• Assist in multidisciplinary project activities.
• Use of spreadsheet and 3D modelling to develop hydraulics system designs.
• Other duties as required by management from time to time.
• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Sanitary Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Board Passer for Registered Sanitary Engineer (PSSE) is a plus
• Knowledge in Sewerage Vent System, Cold
• Recycle and Gas Water System
• Autocad and Revit experience is a MUST.
