Job summary

WSP Manila, Inc. is seeking a Sanitary Design Engineer to lead the sanitary services design for building projects and manage related drawings in line with QA procedures.

You will coordinate with local and foreign affiliates and clients while collaborating with multiple design disciplines. The role requires at least 4 years of experience, a BS in Sanitary Engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sanitary Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• PSSE license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design sanitary services for building projects and related systems.
• Manage drawing intake/outgoing per QA procedures.
• Coordinate with local and international partners and clients.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines.
• Ensure outputs align with the design work programme.
• Participate in meetings as required.
• Assist training and development of subordinates.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for hydraulics design.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the Sanitary services design of building services and associated systems of work.
• Manage and maintain the record of all incoming and outgoing drawings from the office in accordance with WSP QA procedures.
• Liaison with WSP personnel and WSP's partners both local and foreign affiliates and clients.
• Liaise and coordinate with other disciplines of the design team
• Manage and control outputs in accordance with the design work programme.
• Attend meeting when required.
• Carry out any assignments that will be given from time to time by the management.
• At all times exhibit behaviour consistent with that of a professional member of WSP.
• Assist with the training and development of subordinates.
• Assist in multidisciplinary project activities.
• Use of spreadsheet and 3D modelling to develop hydraulics system designs.
• Other duties as required by management from time to time.
• Experience, Capabilities & Competencies:
• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Sanitary Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Board Passer for Registered Sanitary Engineer (PSSE) is a plus
• Knowledge in Sewerage Vent System, Cold
• Recycle and Gas Water System
• Autocad and Revit experience is a MUST.
