Job summary

Astreya is seeking an experienced System Administrator II to manage a hybrid fleet of Windows and Linux endpoints, BOS workstations, and core network services. You will monitor health with Datadog, handle SLA-driven escalations, and support DNS/DHCP and network configurations.

Responsibilities include OS-level troubleshooting, scripting for health checks, and maintenance across multiple environments with a focus on reliability and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• In-depth Windows and Linux admin skills (CLI, processes, systemd).
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DHCP pools, DNS architecture.
• Experience with Datadog dashboards, alerts, and host metrics.
• Scripting basics in Bash/Shell; PowerShell for Windows tasks.
• Familiarity with ITIL, incident management, and SLA tracking.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux endpoints/servers.
• Monitor fleet health with Datadog and respond to alerts.
• Manage DNS/DHCP configurations and network troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with ITSM tools like ServiceNow/Jira for ticketing.
• Create SOPs and knowledge base articles for incidents.
