Eclaro Business Solutions, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester Contractor to join our agile delivery team.

You will ensure quality of scalable web and mobile applications through manual and automated testing in a distributed, asynchronous team environment. You will design and execute test cases, develop automated scripts with Selenium WebDriver and Appium, and collaborate with developers and BAs to ensure coverage for AngularJS, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing of mobile and desktop apps.
• Hands-on with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit).
• Experience testing Java-based web apps and REST APIs using Postman.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL data validation and test configurations.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and JIRA for test management.
• Mortgage experience recommended (CRM, lead mgmt, underwriting, processing).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and mobile apps using JIRA Zephyr Scale.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts with Selenium WebDriver and Appium; integrate into CI/CD.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure test coverage for AngularJS, Spring Boot, REST APIs.
• Execute regression, functional, integration, end-to-end and performance testing scenarios.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.

About the role

We're seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven Software Tester Contractor to join our agile delivery team. You'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of scalable web and mobile applications through manual and automated testing. You must be comfortable working in a distributed team and communicating asynchronously. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in autonomous environments and are passionate about delivering bug-free, high-performance software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications using JIRA Zephyr Scale
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Appium for web and mobile applications and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure test coverage for AngularJS, Spring Boot and REST API components
• Execute regression, functional, integration, end to end and performance testing scenarios
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups

About you

• 2–3 years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing of both mobile and desktop applications
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit)
• Experience testing Java‑based web applications and REST APIs using Postman
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL data validation and test configurations
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience using JIRA for test case and defect management
• Mortgage experience is highly recommended (CRM, lead management, underwriting, processing, etc.)
• Experience testing applications developed with Cursor AI
• Exposure to cloud environments like Microsoft Azure for deployment testing
