Job summary

Finastra Philippines Inc. is seeking an Associate Technical Engineer to be the key interface between clients and the Universal Banking Customer Support team.

The role requires strong technical competency, problem solving, and collaboration with consultants on beta testing and on-site issue handling. The candidate will handle issues with root cause analysis, assist with scripting and document technical specifications.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business IT or related major.
• Excellent debugging skills and experience with debugging tools on different OS.
• Fluent English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests and help them use the product effectively.
• Understand and replicate issues in Finastra environments to assist resolution.
• Perform technical investigation with root-cause analysis and provide solutions.
• Update clients on progress and ensure timely resolution and satisfaction.
• Participate in client meetings (phone/WebEx) to speed investigations.
• Validate defects and ensure described scenarios are fixed.
