Job summary

Jollibee Foods Corporation is seeking a Procurement Officer in Pasig with a hybrid work setup. You will review proposals, negotiate prices within a set range, select suppliers, monitor orders, verify deliveries and approve payments to ensure the right quantity, quality, price and source.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or Accounting and at least 2 years in procurement or be a fresh graduate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or Accounting.
• Has at least 2 years of experience in procurement; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good command of English; can communicate with divisions, contractors and suppliers.
• Able to do in-depth cost analysis and to weigh advantages/disadvantages of given transactions.
• Able to make quick, objective and logical decisions on matters relating to quality, quantity, price and timing of purchases.
• Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig (hybrid set-up).

Responsibilities

• Contacts vendors to establish specifications, scheduling and negotiates pricing.
• Negotiates pricing with suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness and product availability; purchases within predetermined range.
• Obtains approval from manager to purchase products over purchase limit or with long lead time.
• Evaluates vendor by service level and pricing; recommends changes when problems arise.
• Initiates studies, testing and launches of new or improved products by recommending alternatives.
• Continually sources new and better supply sources.
• Maintains current stock levels and inventory targets.
• Monitors price trends and ensures costs are maintained at optimum levels.
• Assists and coordinates with other divisions in establishing systems and procedures.
