The role collaborates with project managers, contractors, customers, and stakeholders to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering required.
• SAA PV/BESS accreditation preferred.
• 2+ years in EN/PV/BESS engineering.
• Strong knowledge of EN/PV/BESS system design and energy storage integration.
• Proficiency in PVsyst and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineering of projects from conception to completion (PV, BESS and Embedded Networks).
• Conduct detailed feasibility studies and site assessments to determine viability of renewable projects.
• Develop technical specifications, engineering drawings, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to incorporate into designs.
• Perform system performance analysis and optimization to maximize energy output.
• Conduct thorough inspections and quality control checks for compliance.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve asset performance.
• Manage customer relationships through all project stages with Senior Engineer.
• Contribute to business strategies to expand capabilities.
• Develop strategic relationships with key technology partners and OEMs.
