enablesGROUP is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the end-to-end design, engineering, and delivery of renewable energy projects, including PV, BESS, and embedded networks. You will work closely with project teams across Australia and the Philippines to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Engineering and has 2+ years' EN/PV/BESS experience, with proficiency in PVsyst and AutoCAD.

• Preferred SAA Accreditation for PV and BESS.
• 2+ years in EN/PV/BESS engineering in Australia.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Location: Ortigas, Pasig, PH Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Hybrid | 3x Onsite, 2x WFH)

Job Detail:

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end design, engineering, and delivery of renewable energy projects, including solar PV systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and embedded networks (EN). This role involves conducting feasibility studies, site assessments, technical design, performance optimization, and quality assurance while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Working closely with project managers, contractors, customers, and key stakeholders, the Engineer supports successful project execution throughout the project lifecycle, maintains strong client relationships, and contributes to business growth through innovation, strategic partnerships, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Engineering, has experience delivering EN, PV, and BESS solutions in Australia, and demonstrates strong technical, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in tools such as PVsyst and AutoCAD.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and engineering of projects from conception to completion (PV, BESS and Embedded Networks).

• Conduct detailed feasibility studies and site assessments to determine the viability of renewable projects.

• Develop technical specifications, engineering drawings, and documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to incorporate into project designs.

• Perform system performance analysis and optimization to maximize energy output and efficiency.

• Conduct thorough inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

• Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance the performance and reliability of our assets.

• Management of the customer relationship through all stages of the project lifecycle in conjunction with the Senior Engineer.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies with a focus on expanding the business with a broadened range of capabilities.

• Developing strategic relationships with key technology partners and OEMs that maximises ability to secure targeted opportunities.

• Provides support to the Senior Engineer to identify opportunities and solutions to ensure that the client is improving delivery, to achieve consistent above-target performance against contractual and internal KPI’s.

• Organise EN, PV and BESS work-packs to maintain our deliverables and schedule.

Qualifications:

• Essential tertiary qualifications essential in Bachelor of Engineering

• Preferred SAA Accreditation (PV + BESS)

• 2+ years in EN/PV/BESS Engineering Solution in Australia

• Strong knowledge of solar EN/PV/BESS system design, including system sizing, string sizing, technology selection, and energy storage integration.

• Solid understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations related to EN/ PV/BESS systems.

• Proficiency in industry software tools, such as PVsyst and AutoCAD

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
