Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Private Placement Analyst to oversee day-to-day processing of private placement activities, including income repatriation, wire execution, ad hoc reporting, and audit requests. You will work under tight deadlines and support SOX controls and risk assessments.

In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with Private Debt/Equity groups, coordinate internal and external audits, and drive process improvements through new tools and automation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Securities Operations, Mutual Funds, Private Placements or Banking Operations.
• Strong understanding of the investment management industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cash transfers, outgoing wires, income/principal payments in Private Placement portfolios.
• Identify potential exposure and advise senior management.
• Coordinate and assist with audits and regulatory requests.
• Drive process improvements and automation to improve efficiency.
