Job summary

Capital One in Alabang, Philippines, seeks a Principal Risk Specialist, Control Testing to effectively identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks within the site in line with internal controls and policies.

You will perform First Line of Defense assessments, manage site audits, and coordinate remediation while collaborating with Risk counterparts and site leadership to embed risk-conscious practices. This role supports a hybrid setup and mid-shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Educational background: business graduate, preferably with accounting units.
• 3–5 years’ experience in managing risk and internal controls in financial industry; CIA certification.
• Strong analytical skills to understand risk processes and identify controls; effective communication; sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Perform First Line of Defense assessments and periodic controls testing.
• Lead local site audit management and liaise with auditors.
• Input risk issues in GRC and monitor remediation activities.
• Develop and communicate risk policies with site management.
