Job summary

Our Clients in Makati City is seeking a Senior Risk Associate for a hybrid role to support risk management, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and assurance engagements for banks, financial institutions, and other organizations.

The successful candidate will assist in risk assessments, evaluate internal control frameworks, and develop practical recommendations to strengthen governance and risk management practices while collaborating with engagement teams and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Management or related field.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience in risk advisory, internal audit, financial services, regulatory consulting, or related field.
• Working knowledge of risk management principles, internal controls, and business process assessment.
• Understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with financial institutions, banking operations, or regulatory requirements is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in risk assessments, internal control reviews, and operational risk management engagements.
• Evaluate processes, risk management frameworks, policies, and control activities to identify gaps.
• Support design and documentation of internal controls and risk mitigation strategies.
• Identify deficiencies and suggest practical remediation.
• Assist in governance, risk management, and internal control framework effectiveness assessments.
• Gather, validate, and analyze data to support risk assessments and advisory engagements.
• Use Excel and analytics tools to identify trends and control issues.
