Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Piping Engineering Professional to join our design team in a hybrid work setup. You will perform piping engineering and design tasks across projects, collaborating with Piping Lead, Stress Engineers, Designers and other disciplines.

Strong fundamentals in piping, codes, and integration with other disciplines are essential. You will prepare piping layouts, 2D/3D models, pipe supports, MTOs, isometrics, and P&IDs reviews, while maintaining high attention

Qualifications

• Solid fundamentals in piping engineering and design.
• Experience with piping codes and integration with other disciplines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare piping layout and 2D/3D modelling of piping systems, structures and equipment.
• Participate in technical meetings and piping 3D model reviews.
• Evaluate equipment and piping layouts to optimize installation.
• Prepare piping line lists, isometrics and material takeoffs (MTO).
• Review vendor drawings and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Review P&IDs for compliance with piping material specs.
• Identify and specify special piping material components.
