Job summary

A leading service provider is seeking a Technical Analyst to support changes within niche business lines in New Zealand. This hybrid role, requiring 1x a week return to the office, involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions, overseeing niche applications, and creating detailed technical specifications. Ideal candidates should have experience in agile settings, strong SQL skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks. Applicants must be Filipino citizens.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst in an Agile environment is required.
• Proficiency in writing clear User Stories with acceptance criteria is critical.
• Strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL for querying and validating data are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business/Product teams to understand processes.
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for niche applications.
• Create technical requirements and acceptance criteria for applications.
• Develop technical flow diagrams and UI mock-ups.
• Work with Agile Build and Dev teams on technical requirements.
• Document and maintain knowledge of niche applications.
• Support application management during issue escalations.
• Seek opportunities to reduce technology debt.
• Facilitate testing including with external stakeholders.
• Participate in deployments and provide necessary training.
