Job summary

Salmon Group in the Philippines is seeking a Non-Financial Risk Officer to support the bank's NFR Management Framework across business units. You will identify, assess, monitor, and report non-financial risks, coordinating with 2LOD and 1LOD stakeholders to ensure robust risk governance and timely RO C reporting.

The role emphasizes risk assessments for outsourcing, RCSA, KRIs, and governance documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance/economics or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, or compliance within a bank or financial institution.
• Familiarity with BSP MORB and related banking regulations is a plus.
• Experience supporting risk reporting for senior management or board committees is advantageous.
• Understanding of the Three Lines of Defense model and risk-management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in risk and control self-assessments (RCSA) for products, processes, and systems in coordination with 1LOD process owners.
• Maintain and update the bank's risk register, including risk ratings, control effectiveness, and residual risk.
• Support review of new product/process approvals by identifying non-financial risks and controls before go-live.
• Assist in risk assessments for outsourcing arrangements.
• Track and monitor KRIs, operational loss events, control exceptions, and near-misses; prepare ROC materials.
• Produce trend analyses and thematic risk reports for management attention.
• Serve as risk resource for 1LOD, coordinating with business units to collect data and validate controls.
• Maintain risk documentation and assist in governance materials for committees.
