Job summary

Comcast Business is hiring a Network Engineer to participate in project teams, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement new and existing products and services. You will engage with vendors and engineering peers, provide technical leadership, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The role requires hands-on networking expertise, cross-team collaboration, and flexibility for night shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Experience with cloud/hybrid deployments (Azure, AWS).
• Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform network activations for Comcast customers per procedures.
• Support migrations to the Comcast network across SD-WAN, IPsec, NaaS, MPLS, SSL VPN.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with carriers to resolve internet circuit issues and ensure reliability.
• Activate and configure cloud services (Azure, AWS) in deployments.
• Provide technical expertise on data networking and handoffs to customer environments.
