Job summary

Asiatel Outsourcing in Metro Manila is seeking a Junior Accountant to support daily accounting activities, including AP/AR, journal entries, and month-end close. You will work with international stakeholders to ensure accurate records and timely reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field and 1–2 years of experience, with preference for QuickBooks Online, Great Plains, or CaseWare familiarity. Hybrid work is offered, aligned with Vancouver hours of 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in general accounting, AP, AR, reconciliations, or similar.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, data entry, and recording of transactions.
• Assist with AP, AR, invoicing, and other accounting tasks.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Review transactions for completeness and accuracy.
• Support monthly financial reporting with schedules and reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized accounting records and documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams and international stakeholders.
