Qualifications

• Basic domain knowledge of Operations Finance related processes (Actuals, Budget, Forecast Analysis)
• BA in Finance/Supply Chain/Accounting/Business or equivalent in a shared service environment
• Experience working in a multinational organization and with colleagues internationally is preferred
• Works effectively with others and as part of a team;
• Competent/Above-Average English Fluency

Responsibilities

• Operationally execute backend processes for Operations Finance relating to Forecast, Budgets and Reporting
• Owns a complex country process, understands current processes and systems, and manages to target quality and efficiency
• Focus on reports interpretation and variance analysis for one or more business functions
• Analyze and interpret data for reporting requirements
• Understand local and business trends that impact financial operations, including peaks and valleys of country performance and cost indicators
• Country and Region Reporting
• Ensure compliance with GM Corporate policies and external regulatory requirements
• Support internal and external audits
• Interacts with internal/external related parties (impacted Business Units, Global Controller's Team, Global Finance Teams, etc.)
• Strong control focus - raise accounting or control issues promptly
• Drive process improvements to enhance quality and compliance
• Participate in Special Projects (LEAN/Six Sigma) eventually leading such projects
• Highly technical in the use of SAP system (t-codes, asset module flow, etc.)
