Payreto Services Inc. is seeking a Finance Associate in Makati to handle day-to-day accounting, ensure data accuracy, and support client service requirements.

The role covers AP/AR, financial reporting, client relations, inventory, audit and tax compliance, with a hybrid work setup and opportunities for professional development. Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Exposure to financial reporting cycles (monthly/quarterly/year-end).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software.
• Knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting basics.
• Knowledge of collaboration tools Slack and MS Teams.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Dependable and committed to meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a client-service environment.

Responsibilities

• Record, verify, and reconcile AP/AR transactions.
• Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and client billings.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on collections.
• Maintain accurate AP/AR ledgers and schedules.
• Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze variances and provide supporting details for reviews.
• Conducts basic or initial analysis of financial reports.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger balances.
• Support the Account Manager and Senior Accountant in client inquiries.
• Ensure timely completion of deliverables and maintain client docs.
• Escalate issues to Senior Staff/Accountants promptly.
• Record and monitor inventory transactions and reconciliations.
• Assist in periodic inventory reports for clients.
• Support physical inventory counts and variance analysis.
• Ensure proper documentation of inventory movements.
• Conduct periodic internal audits and strengthen controls.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in tax-related schedules and VAT/withholding tax.
• Stay updated on basic tax regulations for client accounts.
• Participate in ad hoc tasks and extend hours when needed.
