Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking an Associate, Legal General responsible for collecting and analyzing Material Data from suppliers, ensuring regulatory compliance and preparing material declarations.

The role requires knowledge of material compositions, ability to read engineering drawings, and proficiency with Google Workspace. A blended work arrangement (home and on-site) is supported to accommodate flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Materials Engineering.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years’ experience in material compliance field.
• Strong background on material compositions and properties of chemical compounds.
• Proficient Google Suite applications (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Gdrive, Gslides).
• Basic programming background, able to create macros on Google Apps Script.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage regular data collection campaigns to gather Material Data from suppliers.
• Perform in-depth data analysis and validate supplier-submitted information.
• Interpret Material Safety Data Sheets and engineering drawings to support restricted substances analysis.
• Review Engineering Drawings and Material Specifications to create Full Material Declaration Boilerplate.
• Design environmental compliance trackers and dashboards for reporting KPIs and improvements.
• Collaborate with Commodity Managers and third-party project manager to resolve issues.
