Job summary

Philip Morris International is seeking a Data Scientist to transform data into actionable insights at The Finance Center, BGC. The role blends advanced analytics, ML/AI, and cloud technologies to deliver scalable solutions and decision-support across the business.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in data science or analytics, hands-on ML in production, and experience with AWS. You’ll work hybrid, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, ML or Advanced Analytics.
• Experience building and deploying AI/ML models in production.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of data governance and data management best practices.
• AWS, Machine Learning, or Data Science certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, deploy, and optimize ML/AI models.
• Apply predictive and prescriptive analytics to solve business problems.
• Source, prepare, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and model performance evaluation.
• Integrate ML and Generative AI into business processes and workflows.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions and continuous innovation.
