Job summary

Philip Morris International is seeking a Data Scientist to transform data into actionable insights at The Finance Center, BGC. The role blends advanced analytics, ML/AI, and cloud technologies to deliver scalable solutions and decision-support across the business.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in data science or analytics, hands-on ML in production, and experience with AWS. You’ll work hybrid, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, ML or Advanced Analytics.
• Experience building and deploying AI/ML models in production.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of data governance and data management best practices.
• AWS, Machine Learning, or Data Science certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, deploy, and optimize ML/AI models.
• Apply predictive and prescriptive analytics to solve business problems.
• Source, prepare, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.

Purpose of the role

The Data Scientist leverages advanced analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical modeling to transform data into actionable business insights. The role is responsible for developing scalable analytical solutions, including predictive and prescriptive models, while utilizing cloud technologies and Generative AI to drive business value and support data-driven decision-making.

What You’ll Do
