Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Claims Processor to join our team in Metro Manila. You will review claim documents, validate information, and ensure timely processing in accordance with procedures.

You will coordinate with internal teams and clients, maintain accurate records, and handle inquiries with a professional, detail-oriented approach. A background in local insurance claims is preferred, with strong Excel skills and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• 1–2 years of experience in claims processing, insurance operations, or related role.
• Experience handling local insurance claims preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review documents accurately.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple claims or tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Process and review local insurance claims per procedures and guidelines.
• Validate claim forms, supporting documents, and information for completeness and accuracy.
• Assess and verify claim details based on policies and processing guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and other parties regarding claim requirements and status.
• Identify missing or inconsistent information and follow up for documentation.
• Update and maintain accurate claim records and system information.
• Respond to claim-related inquiries and provide timely status updates.
• Ensure claims processed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and claim information.
• Perform other claims-related administrative tasks as required.
