Job summary

Aprio, a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm, is seeking a capable Accountant to manage weekly and monthly client accounting tasks. You will reconcile bank and payroll entries, code transactions, and prepare reports while coordinating with US reviewers.

The role emphasizes accuracy, Excel proficiency, and strong communication in a hybrid team. Ideal candidates hold an accounting degree; CPA is advantageous, with 2+ years in BPO.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting is required.
• CPA license is advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 years in the BPO industry.
• Experience with accounts payable or bookkeeping is advantageous.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Factura and Bill.com is advantageous.
• Preference for candidates with experience working with Restaurant Franchisees and Hospitality clients.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a hybrid team.
• Ability to manage multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle weekly and monthly accounting tasks for assigned clients.
• Pull reports from various websites as needed.
• Verify and adjust system journal entries per client treatments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and import transactions.
• Code bank and credit card transactions and liaise with Senior Accountant.
• Record payroll entries and manage payroll-related accounts.
• Reconcile balance sheet and revenue accounts monthly and post closing entries.
• Assist in responding to client questions and process improvements.
