Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts seeks an Accounting Analyst to join the Corporate Accounting team. This entry-level role supports the monthly close, journal entries, and reconciliations for multiple product lines in a health insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic
• 1-3 years of accounting experience desired

Responsibilities

• Maintain a variety of spreadsheets/pivot tables from daily/monthly data files to support journal entries.
• Prepare journal entries related to claims/premium.
• Prepare account reconciliations.
• Utilize data software to support/analyze data related to claims/premium activity.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
• Meet monthly deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
