Job summary

Austal Philippines is seeking an HVAC Tradesperson (ATP) Batch 1 to join the shipbuilding team in Balamban. You will install HVAC systems and perform purge welding (TIG) on stainless steel alongside a skilled crew to meet production targets while upholding safety and quality.

Required are relevant trade qualifications with at least 2 years in shipbuilding and a high school or technical training background. Additional welding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in shipbuilding.
• High school or technical training/vocational school graduate.
• 2 years’ experience in purge welding (TIG) stainless steel, brazing copper and copper to stainless steel.

Reporting to the HVAC Supervisor, the HVAC Tradesperson is responsible for working within a team to carry out HVAC system installation and related tasks to achieve minimum production time and maximum quality, while maintaining a positive and motivated team environment.

Essential

Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:

• Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years' experience in shipbuilding Industry.
• At least high school or technical training/vocational school graduate.
• At least 2 years' experience in purge welding (T.I.G) stainless steel, Brazing copper and copper to stainless steel.
