About the role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team in Santa Rosa City Laguna. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems for both residential and commercial clients. This is a hands-on position that requires technical expertise, problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. You will work mainly at client locations and at times at our workshop, ensuring all systems operate at peak efficiency and meet industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial properties
- Diagnose system faults and malfunctions using specialised testing equipment and tools
- Perform routine maintenance checks including filter replacements, refrigerant level monitoring and electrical component inspections
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide timely solutions to minimise client downtime
- Keep detailed records of work completed, parts used and maintenance schedules for each client
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards and local building codes
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and reorder supplies as needed
- Support the team to meet service level agreements and customer satisfaction targets
What we're looking for
- A recognised HVAC qualification, TESDA Certification or equivalent hands-on experience in air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, gauges, manifolds and refrigeration tools
- Sound knowledge of electrical systems and refrigeration principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to explain complex technical information clearly
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces where necessary
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
- Flexibility to work additional hours or on-call shifts when required
- Experience with commercial refrigeration systems would be advantageous
- Relevant certifications such as NCII TESDA certification or similar local qualifications are preferred
