Job summary

Xiangxin Construction Corp. seeks a seasoned Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer to lead the design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of complex plumbing and fire protection systems.

You will ensure compliance with project specs, safety standards and codes on major construction sites. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, and strong leadership and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer, Sanitary Engineer or Registered Master Plumber preferred.
• Minimum of ten years in Plumbing and Fire Protection works in construction.
• Knowledge of local building/fire codes and industry standards.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Plumbing and Fire Protection works to ensure compliance with approved plans and specs.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, subcontractors and other disciplines for smooth execution.
• Conduct inspections, testing and commissioning of plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Ensure installations comply with codes, safety regulations and project requirements.
• Monitor schedules, manpower and material requirements to ensure timely completion.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Prepare progress and inspection reports and other project documentation.
• Implement quality control procedures and site safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer with at least ten (10) years of relevant experience in construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of plumbing and fire protection systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and applicable codes.
