Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Monterrey is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and maintain HVAC and BAS/BMS systems at customer sites. You will diagnose equipment and network issues, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and drive system upgrades to improve reliability.

The role requires 3–5 years in HVAC controls and BAS, with experience in Niagara/Tridium and customer-facing service. Travel across the region and after-hours support are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent field service experience.
• 3–5 years in HVAC controls and BAS/BMS, with field service exposure.
• Experience commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC systems and BMS work including Niagara/Tridium.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, testing, and validation of HVAC and BAS/BMS systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment, control systems, field devices, networks, and software.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance and system upgrades.
• Analyze performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Support emergency service calls and critical system recovery.
• Configure and support Honeywell Building Management Systems and BAS.
• Assist in controller programming, network configuration, and database management.
• Provide customer training on HVAC controls and system operation.
