Job summary

EDJ Data in Cebu City is seeking an experienced, hands-on HR Manager to lead the HR function, shape policies, and build recruiting capabilities needed as the company grows. This is a manager-level role with meaningful authority over HR policies, employee relations, disciplinary processes, recruiting, compensation recommendations, and the HR team.

The HR Manager will work directly with executive management and company attorneys.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Previous HR Manager, HR Business Partner, Employee Relations Manager, or similar leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's HR function and supervise HR staff.
• Implement and consistently enforce company HR policies and procedures.
• Train managers and supervisors on employee discipline, proper documentation, attendance and policy enforcement, performance management, and due process.
• Review and approve disciplinary documentation before significant employee actions.
• Conduct or direct employee investigations.
• Recommend disciplinary action, performance improvement plans, suspensions, and terminations.
• Participate in hiring, promotion, compensation, transfer, and termination decisions.
• Work with company attorneys on DOLE, SEnA, NLRC and other employment matters.
• Develop recruiting strategies and identify best sources for BPO talent in Cebu.
• Develop and recommend salary bands, compensation tiers, and job levels.

About the role

This is a manager‑level position with meaningful authority over HR policies, employee relations, disciplinary processes, recruiting, compensation recommendations, and the HR team. About you

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience
• Previous HR Manager, HR Business Partner, Employee Relations Manager, or similar leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor practices and DOLE compliance
• Strong employee‑relations, investigation, and disciplinary experience
• Experience training and advising managers
• Recruiting and workforce‑planning experience
• Experience with compensation benchmarking, salary bands, or job leveling
• Strong written English and documentation skills
