The role monitors dangerous cargo, fire safety systems, and equipment, enforces safety rules, conducts toolbox meetings, issues work permits, and manages PPE. You will prepare HSE reports and coordinate with regulators and contractors to promote safety across the terminal.

Qualifications

• Regular inspections of vessels, yards, buildings and DG areas to ensure HSE compliance.
• Monitor dangerous cargo, fire safety systems and yard equipment for safe operations.
• Enforce safety rules across all operational areas and escort visitors as required.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety orientations and engage with employees and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Inspections and audits to verify compliance with NorthPort HSE standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and third-party service providers to ensure safety.
• Issue work permits and manage PPE issuance for personnel.
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports and regulatory submissions.
