Job summary

Private Advertiser in Taguig City, Metro Manila, is seeking a skilled Aircon Technician on a full-time basis. You will install, service, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients, ensuring safety and high standards.

Required: vocational HVAC training, 2–3 years of experience, knowledge of refrigerants and environmental impact, and strong customer service skills. Willingness to travel within Metro Manila and hold a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training or certification in air conditioning and refrigeration technology.
• 2–3 years of hands-on aircon technician experience.
• Solid knowledge of air conditioning systems, including installation, repair and maintenance.
• Competency with diagnostic tools, refrigeration gauges, vacuum pumps and related equipment.
• Understanding of refrigerants and environmental impact, with Montreal Protocol knowledge.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude; able to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication with clients.
• Good physical fitness for varied environments and heights.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to high workmanship standards.
• Valid driver's licence; willing to travel to Metro Manila job sites.
• Preferred refrigerant handling certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair air conditioning units for residential, commercial and industrial clients
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels and testing system components
• Replace defective parts such as compressors, condensers, evaporators and thermostats
• Recharge air conditioning systems with appropriate refrigerants whilst adhering to environmental regulations
• Test repaired or installed systems to ensure they operate at optimal performance levels
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including parts used and hours worked
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical issues and recommended solutions in clear, understandable terms
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and prioritise work based on customer needs

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Aircon Technician to join our team on a full-time basis in Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of air conditioning systems for both residential and commercial clients. As an Aircon Technician, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our customers' cooling systems operate efficiently and effectively, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position is essential to our operations, as reliable air conditioning services are fundamental to customer satisfaction and business growth in the Metro Manila region.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Completed vocational training or certification in air conditioning and refrigeration technology

• Proven experience of at least 2-3 years working as an aircon technician or in a similar technical role

• Sound knowledge of air conditioning systems, including installation, repair and maintenance procedures

• Competency in using diagnostic tools, refrigeration gauges, vacuum pumps and other specialised equipment

• Understanding of refrigerants and their environmental impact, with knowledge of relevant regulations such as the Montreal Protocol

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex problems

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with clients

• Physical fitness and capability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights

• Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship

• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to different job sites across Metro Manila

• Preferred: Refrigerant handling certification or equivalent qualification demonstrating compliance with environmental standards
