Job summary

AP HelpMeet Inc. is seeking a trustworthy, detail-oriented AC Technician - Senior to service, maintain and repair refrigeration and air conditioning units.

You will also handle pest control and minor house repairs, plus transport duties as needed, with a strong focus on safety and customer service. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in aircon work (2+ in commercial settings), TESDA NC III, a valid PH driver's license, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• TESDA NC III in Commercial Air-Conditioning Installation and Servicing.
• Total of 4 years experience as an aircon technician with 2 years in commercial setting.
• 2 years of driving experience with a motorcycle (safe defensive driving).
• Valid Philippine driver’s license.
• NBI Clearance and drug test.
• High school graduate.
• Good communication skills with basic English.
• Reside in Taguig, Makati, Mandaluyong or nearby areas.
• Punctual, reliable, trustworthy, responsive, and polite.

Responsibilities

• Filling out all necessary paperwork before and after every job order.
• Communicating with office staff to schedule services with customers.
• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training to colleagues and new hires.
• Responding to customers’ requests and office staff messages.
• Maintaining equipment, tools, materials, and PPE and report to management if replacement is necessary.
• Driving of company vehicle(s) to customer site.
• Always wearing appropriate PPE and working safely in every tasks.
• Identifying opportunities to sell additional company services and products and recommending to customers.
• Installing, maintaining, cleaning and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Identifying current issues and possible future issues on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Keeping logs and records of customer’s units for future servicing.
• Inspecting customers’ premises to identify pest problems.
• Applying suitable pesticides to infested areas by following procedure and protocols and complying with safety practices.
• Use different pest control methods such as the setting of traps or baits to remove or kill pests, misting, and spraying.
• Adjusting chemical mixtures according to the size of the infested areas.
• Inspecting repair and maintenance issues and identifying tools and materials needed.
• Estimating the time and personnel needed.
• Doing minor repair and maintenance works in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Advising office staff and customers on current issues, possible future issues, and preventative and maintenance measures.
• Transport employees safely from and to locations as directed by the admin or your supervisor/ manager using a company vehicle.
• Transport laundry and/ or equipment and materials securely from and to locations as directed by the admin or your supervisor/ manager using a company vehicle.

AC Technician - Senior

We are hiring a trustworthy, reliable, and detail-oriented individual who can service (clean), maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install refrigeration and air-conditioning units. The associate will also be responsible for performing pest control services and minor house repair and maintenance works such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Whenever the associate has available time, he/ she will transport employees, laundry, and consumables as needed. The associate will advise and give recommendations to management and customers for improvements and preventative measures.

To be successful in this role, excellence, dependability, integrity, and safety should be your top priority. Ideal candidates have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

General

Compensation

• Basic salary of Php 23,000 – 26,000 per month, depending on experience and tenure
• Monthly allowance of Php 2,000 – 4,000 per month, depending on experience and tenure
• Performance bonus of Php 0-1,500 per quarter (based on individual and business performance)
