Job summary

JBC VENTURES, INC. in Metro Manila is seeking an HR Supervisor to support the HR Manager in daily operations and ensure policy compliance across the organization. This hands-on role covers recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of HR experience, strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, and excellent communication and organizational skills for working with department heads and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE requirements, employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and HR documentation.
• Hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, timekeeping/payroll coordination, and employee records management.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to handle sensitive employee concerns professionally and maintain confidentiality.
• Able to be firm, objective, and consistent in implementing company policies and management decisions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and coordinating closely with the HR Manager and department heads.

Responsibilities

• Execute recruitment and onboarding activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, pre-employment requirements, onboarding, and regularization.
• Implement and consistently enforce company HR policies, procedures, attendance rules, performance standards, and workplace guidelines.
• Handle employee concerns, grievances, workplace issues, and disciplinary matters, including proper investigation and documentation, with appropriate escalation to the HR Manager.
• Coordinate performance evaluations, probationary reviews, performance improvement plans, and other employee performance processes with department heads.
• Maintain complete and accurate employee records, contracts, personnel movements, and other HR documentation.
• Coordinate timekeeping, payroll inputs, employee benefits, and government-mandated contributions with Finance and other responsible teams.
• Facilitate employee separation and offboarding, including clearances, turnover, documentation, and final pay requirements.
