We are seeking a highly adaptable and strategic HR Group Manager to lead our HR Operations team supporting Medical Solutions' Human Resources function. This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of HR shared services across HRIS, Benefits Administration, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Corporate Onboarding, and HR Operations, ensuring high-quality, timely, and compliant support to our US HR partners.
Responsibilities
Strategic HR Operations Leadership
- Lead the Philippine-based HR Operations team supporting Medical Solutions' US Human Resources function.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, service quality, scalability, and employee experience.
- Partner closely with US HR leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into operational execution.
- Establish departmental goals, KPIs, and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring consistent performance and accountability.
- Build a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, coach, and develop HR Managers, Specialists, and Coordinators across multiple HR functional areas.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning.
- Promote cross-training to strengthen team capability and operational resilience.
- Foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture focused on accountability and customer service.
HR Operations
- Oversee end-to-end HR operational processes supporting the US employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee documentation, HR transactions, policy administration, and offboarding support.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of HR operational requests while maintaining service quality standards.
- Drive process standardization and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
HRIS and HR Technology
- Oversee HRIS administration and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Partner with US HR and IT teams on system enhancements, automation initiatives, testing, and process improvements.
- Monitor HR data quality and reporting to support workforce planning and business decisions.
- Champion technology solutions that improve HR operational effectiveness.
Benefits Administration
- Oversee the administration of US employee benefits, ensuring timely processing, employee support, and compliance with established procedures.
- Partner with US HR teams and third-party vendors to improve service delivery and employee experience.
- Monitor benefits administration processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Employee Relations Support
- Provide operational leadership for employee relations processes by coordinating investigations, documentation, case management, and policy administration in partnership with US HR.
- Ensure consistency, confidentiality, and compliance throughout employee relations activities.
- Support leaders in resolving employee concerns while maintaining positive employee experiences.
Corporate Onboarding
- Lead the Corporate Onboarding team responsible for delivering a seamless onboarding experience for newly hired employees.
- Ensure all onboarding activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, IT, Learning & Development, and Hiring Managers to improve onboarding effectiveness.
- Continuously enhance onboarding programs through employee feedback and process improvements.
Employee Engagement
- Partner with US HR leadership to support employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
- Coordinate engagement activities, communications, and employee experience initiatives.
- Monitor engagement metrics and recommend improvements that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
- Monitor operational performance using established KPIs and service metrics.
- Lead process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
- Identify automation opportunities and leverage technology to streamline HR operations.
- Drive documentation, knowledge management, and process governance across the team.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and applicable US employment regulations within the team's scope of responsibility.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support internal and external audit activities.
- Promote data privacy, confidentiality, and information security standards across HR operations.
Change Management
- Lead HR operational readiness during organizational growth, system implementations, and process transformations.
- Effectively manage change initiatives while ensuring minimal disruption to HR service delivery.
- Support continuous learning and adaptability across the HR Operations team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree or professional HR certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 3 years leading multiple HR functions or shared services teams.
- Experience supporting US HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or a multinational organization is highly preferred.
- Strong experience managing HRIS, Benefits Administration, Employee Relations, HR Operations, Employee Engagement, and Corporate Onboarding.
- Knowledge of US HR processes and employment practices is an advantage.
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Experience leading process improvement, service delivery, and HR technology initiatives.
- Highly adaptable, proactive, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, continuously evolving environment.
- Must be willing to work in rotating shifts or US time zone.
- Must be willing to work in the office at Bridgetowne, QC
