Job summary

The Philippines HR Generalist Lead will serve as the local extension of our US-based HR team, delivering a consistent, high-quality employee experience across the lifecycle. This role requires broad expertise across talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, training, and mobility.

  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with cross-functional/multinational teams is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written English; multinational environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as local SME on Filipino employment law, benefits, and HR processes.
  • Lead review, revision, and implementation of HR policies and employee handbook.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies accordingly.
  • Partner with US Talent Acquisition to support local recruiting.
  • Lead local onboarding activities for new hires.
  • Coordinate visa applications, documentation, and mobility planning.
  • Coordinate visa applications, embassy appointments, and interview prep.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to support training in the Philippines.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities to strengthen culture and collaboration.
  • Bridge Philippines office with global organization to align with firm-wide programs.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Philippines HR Generalist Lead will serve as the local extension of our US-based HR team and play a critical role in delivering a consistent, high-quality employee experience across the employee lifecycle. This highly visible and collaborative position requires broad expertise across all HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, training and development, and mobility programs.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Serve as the local subject matter expert on Filipino employment law, employee benefit programs, and HR-related processes, providing guidance to HR and leadership teams on the legal implications of HR decisions and actions including recruitment, hiring, benefits, training, and performance.
  • Lead the review, revision, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook to ensure alignment with current legislation.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, proactively updating internal policies and practices to reflect new requirements.
  • Partner with US Talent Acquisition teams to support local recruiting efforts and deliver a seamless candidate experience.
  • Lead local onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a welcoming and effective transition into the organization.
  • Serve as the primary resource for international visa requirements, immigration processes, travel documentation, and mobility-related planning.
  • Coordinate visa applications, supporting documentation, embassy appointments, and employee interview preparation.
  • Partner closely with Learning & Development teams to coordinate and support training initiatives delivered in the Philippines.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities that strengthen culture, collaboration, and team connection.
  • Serve as a primary bridge between the Philippines office and the broader global organization, helping employees feel connected to the firm's mission, culture, values, and strategic objectives
  • Partner closely with US-based HR, Talent, and business leaders to ensure local employees are fully integrated into firm-wide programs, communications, initiatives, and opportunities
  • Ensure local perspectives, employee feedback, and workforce needs are effectively represented and communicated to corporate leadership and HR teams.
Qualifications

Your Desired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HR operations, with a focus on employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor law and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a multinational setting is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience supporting associates in a multinational environment is preferred
  • Ability to ask clear, targeted questions to understand issues, gather relevant details, and drive tasks to completion.
  • Strong English comprehension and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret technical information, document findings, and communicate next steps effectively.
  • Demonstrates ethical behavior, critical thinking, accountability and sound judgement in making decisions in accordance with professional standards.
  • Demonstrates professional image, maturity, self-confidence and positive attitude.
