A leading paper manufacturing firm is seeking an experienced HR Director to establish and lead an integrated HR Shared Services function. The ideal candidate must have 10-15 years of HR experience, preferably at the Director level in a manufacturing environment, and a strong understanding of Philippine labor laws. The role involves standardizing HR policies, overseeing core HR operations, and leading organizational change initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of experience in Human Resources required.
• Senior-level HR experience ideally at Director level.
• In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws.

Our client is currently the leading paper manufacturer in the Philippines, providing the newsprint requirements of major local newspapers both broadsheets and tabloids.

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

• Establish and lead an integrated HR Shared Services function for the entire group
• Standardize HR policies and processes across different business units while addressing specific needs
• Align HR strategy with overall business goals, including workforce planning and talent development
• Lead initiatives in organizational design, performance management, and employee engagement
• Oversee all core HR operations including recruitment, compensation, compliance, and labor relations
• Monitor and report on key HR metrics to drive data-informed decisions
• Recommend and implement a new HR system that seamlessly integrates with existing ERP platforms, optimize organizational structures, and lead the company through cultural transformation initiatives.
• Guide and develop the HR team across different companies within the group
• Support change management and culture-building programs across all levels

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or related field (Master’s or certifications are a plus)
• At least 10 to 15 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Senior-level HR experience, ideally at the Director level, within a manufacturing or industrial environment
