Job summary

IBM Consulting in the Philippines seeks a Project Manager to deliver and support HR BPO initiatives across Talent Acquisition, HR, and Payroll services. You will coordinate activities, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement on client-led projects.

The role requires at least 1 year in PM and experience in HR/BPO environments, with strong organizational and communication skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of basic to intermediate project management experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR, or Payroll BPO environments.
• Experience supporting process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives.
• Formal project management learning, training, or coursework (e.g., internal training, foundational PM education, or certifications-in-progress).
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage project charters and project plans for assigned initiatives.
• Coordinate project activities from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Prepare and deliver project status updates and progress reports to leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks; escalate issues as appropriate.
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, operational teams, and leadership.
• Support multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
• Review business processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiencies.
• Support the design and implementation of continuous improvement and innovation projects in support of HR BPO delivery operations.
• Assist with temporary projects and ongoing operational initiatives as needed.
• Act as a project team member or subject matter expert (SME) on client-led projects when required.
• Support adoption of standard project management and delivery best practices across assigned initiatives.
