Position: Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping operations and be able to lead a team to ensure our guests' rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including room cleaning, laundry, and public area maintenance.
• Train, mentor, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure they are providing efficient and effective service.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to address guest requests and resolve any issues.
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures and schedules to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of all areas.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to housekeeping staff.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and ensure the department is in compliance at all times.
• Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for the housekeeping department.
• Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
