Job summary

About the role

Select Goods is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our team in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across our facility. As a key member of the housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas meet our guests' expectations and comply with health and safety regulations. Your work will directly contribute to creating a welcoming and pristine environment that reflects our commitment to excellence in hospitality.

What you'll be doing

• Cleaning and sanitising guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas and public spaces according to established standards and procedures




• Changing bed linens, replacing towels and replenishing guest amenities in rooms and suites




• Vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors to maintain cleanliness and presentation




• Dusting furniture, fixtures and surfaces throughout assigned areas




• Disposing of waste materials and maintaining organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment




• Reporting maintenance issues, damages or safety hazards to supervisory staff promptly




• Responding to guest requests for additional cleaning supplies or assistance in a professional and timely manner




• Working collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient completion of daily tasks




• Following health, safety and hygiene protocols at all times to protect guests and staff




• Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when entering guest spaces

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning or a similar hospitality role is preferred but not essential for enthusiastic candidates




• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness consistently




• Physical fitness and ability to lift, bend and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day




• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence




• Excellent communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanour with guests and colleagues




• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment




• Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, with willingness to follow safety protocols




• Adaptability and flexibility with scheduling as required by the business




• Valid identification and eligibility to work in the Philippines
