Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties across assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and wipe surfaces.
• Maintain sanitation of floors, walls, windows, and restrooms.
• Collect, segregate, and dispose of garbage per procedures.
• Restroom cleaning and supplies replenishment.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment storage.
• Inspect areas to ensure cleanliness and standards.
• Respond to spills and report hazards to supervisor.
• Assist housekeeping staff and support tasks.
• Follow PPE and safety protocols.
• Report maintenance concerns and supply shortages.
• Assist with deep cleaning and event preparation when required.

Job description

1. Cleaning and Maintenance – Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping surfaces in assigned areas.

2. Sanitation and Hygiene – Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of floors, walls, windows, comfort rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces.

3. Waste Management – Collect, segregate, and dispose of garbage properly in accordance with established waste management procedures.

4. Restroom Maintenance – Clean and sanitize comfort rooms and replenish supplies such as soap, tissue paper, and other necessary materials.

5. Cleaning Supplies Management – Ensure the proper use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning tools, equipment, and materials.

6. Area Inspection – Regularly check assigned areas to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with housekeeping standards.

7. Spill and Incident Response – Immediately clean spills and report hazards, damages, or unsafe conditions to the immediate supervisor.

8. General Housekeeping Support – Assist housekeeping personnel and perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

9. Safety Compliance – Follow proper cleaning procedures, use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and observe workplace health and safety protocols.

10. Reporting and Coordination – Report maintenance concerns, supply shortages, and other housekeeping-related issues to the immediate supervisor.

11. Special Cleaning Tasks – Assist with deep cleaning, event preparation, and other special housekeeping activities when required.
