A Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a home, hotel, or other establishment. The key duties and responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Cleaning Tasks: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting various areas, such as bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Laundry: Washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes, towels, and linens.
- Restocking Supplies: Ensuring that cleaning products, toiletries, and other necessary supplies are stocked and ready.
- Tidying and Organizing: Making beds, arranging furniture, and organizing spaces to maintain a neat and orderly environment.
- Disinfection and Sanitization: Ensuring that surfaces, especially high-touch areas, are sanitized regularly for health and safety.
- Waste Management: Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly.
- Report Maintenance Issues: Notifying the management or homeowner of any repairs or maintenance needs.
- Special Requests: Carrying out specific cleaning tasks or errands as requested by the employer.
Qualifications

- Experience: Previous cleaning experience in hotels, offices, or homes is often preferred, but not always required. Customer service experience may be a plus, especially in a hospitality setting.
